1. Wanda Maximoff is not yet called Scarlet Witch
Episode 5 of WandaVision reveals that Wanda Maximoff is a member of the Avengers without a code name. Although often referred to as Scarlet Witch, but in this episode, it is explained that she does not have an alias. It is revealed from a conversation between Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) and SWORD Director Tyler Hayward (Josh Stanberg). At that moment, Tyler asks Jimmy if Wanda has a strange nickname.
"Does Maximoff have an alias? No funny nicknames?" asked Tyler.
"None of them," replied Jimmy.
In the comic world, Wanda is known as Scarlet Witch. However, this name has never been used in MCU. That conversation proves scarlet witch is not in the MCU yet. However, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige once said, if at WandaVision later the name Scarlet Witch for the first time will be pronounced. This indicates that WandaVision is also Wanda's process of becoming a Scarlet Witch.
